Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming healthcare practices at an unprecedented speed. Its analytical capabilities open up new perspectives in diagnosis, preventive medicine, and care optimization. However, despite these improvements, AI raises major ethical and practical challenges such as the emergence of inequalities (care access, equity between commercial and non-commercial sectors, technology access, etc.) or the quest to rehumanize care. AI deployment also faces limits (economic, ecological, and philosophical) and questions the truly intended purpose. In order to give AI its rightful place in healthcare, anticipation and training approaches are therefore necessary. What does this article bring up for us? Artificial intelligence (AI) is forcing us to redefine healthcare at an unprecedented speed. Through its unrivaled ability to analyze vast databases, AI is opening up new perspectives in diagnosis, preventive medicine, and care optimization. However, despite these advances, AI raises major ethical and practical challenges that healthcare professionals must anticipate.
